Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray's daughter-in-law Mitali Borude is a fashion designer. Mitali tied the knot with Raj Thackeray's son Amit on January 27, 2019 in Mumbai.

So how did Mitali Borude meet Raj Thackeray's son Amit Thackeray? Well, the story goes like this, Mitali and Amit's sister Urvashi were close friends and she was introduced to Amit through his sister. Amit Thackeray and Mitali Borude got engaged on December 11, 2017 at a private engagement ceremony that was held at Raj Thackeray's residence Krishna Kunj in Dadar. Interestingly, Amit and Mitali chose December 11 as it was the wedding anniversary of Raj and Sharmila Thackeray.

Mitali Borude has always shied away from the limelight and prefers to keep a low public profile.
Soon after exchanging rings, Amit Thackeray had shared this candid picture with his wife (then fiance) Mitali Borude on Instagram. While sharing the photo, Amit captioned it: New boss in the house. He ended his caption with a red heart emoticon.

Since their star-studded wedding, Mitali Borude and Amit Thackeray have made few appearances on rare occasions. The couple made their first public appearance as Mr. and Mrs. Thackeray when they had organised a reception for members of the MNS party at their residence Krishna Kunj in Dadar.
The power couple from Mumbai were snapped during the inauguration of a giant bicycle store at Khar in Mumbai. The two graced the event along with MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Urvashi Thackeray.
