Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is mindboggling. Mystery and suspense have lingered with the entire series, from the start, but this one takes it to another level. It's tough to guess what's next. Readers are kept on their toes with one revelation after another, and just when one may think there cannot be another twist, he/she is proven wrong!

Each book is a masterpiece. But if I had to pick one, it would be The Deathly Hallows. It ties all the loose ends, weaving a magical tale while teaching incredible lessons. Plus, it has an amazing epilogue that is bittersweet - happy because of the touching end and sad because it is over! Such an intricate, insightful piece of literature is rare to come by.

Although I cannot choose a favourite Harry Potter book, Half-Blood Prince is most special. It gratifies the frustration experienced during reading the previous part, as we start believing Harry, and also introduces a darker tone to the series. The character development is commendable and while the plot is intricately structured; two questions haunt us: What is Voldemort up to? More insistently, whose side is Snape on? Until today, even in marathon rereads, after reading one title, I want to grab the next, except when it's this one.

After having read the books and watched all films many times, The Order Of The Phoenix is my pick. It reflects a turning point with changes in many characters, especially Harry's. He turns into a leader and he goes all out to protect Sirius, on a hunch, which is admirable. I liked the idea and drama of the student rebel organisation in Dumbledore's Army. This book elevated the plot from the first four and set the tone for the final two.
