The survey was done by by AirHelp, an EU claim processing agency. It compared the world's biggest and most popular airlines and rated them according to their punctuality, quality of service, and how well they handle claims for compensation

The survey has ranked Belgium's national carrier, Brussels Airlines as the best airline in the world with 8.12 with 7.8 for on-time performance, 7.9 for customer opinion and 8.7 for claim processing.
Next in line is Qatar Airways, the flag carried of the Qatar, which has got 8.11 overall and 8.2 for on-time performance, 8.9 for customer opinion and 7.3 for claim processing.
At three is United Airlines from Chicago in United States of America, with 8.04 close behind Qatar with 7.8 for on-time performance, 7.8 for customer opinion and 8.5 for claims processing.
It is followed by American Airlines, another from the US at 8.04 but with 7.5 for on-time performance, 8.1 for customer opinion, and 8.5 for claims processing.
Ending the top 5 is Play Airlines from Iceland with 7.89, which has a high 9 for on-time performance but suffers with 7.5 for customer opinion and 7.3 for claims processing
Unfortunately, India's airlines don't even feature in the top 50 as Air India is at 61 and IndiGo at 103 out of 109 airlines.
