Music knows no barriers of language or geography! And that is exactly what a 17-year-old Gurugram based, Rohan Jain is discovering currently interning for an Los Angeles (United States) based music company. Rohan, a music enthusiast, has deflected numerous opinions by his near and dear ones to go down the conventional path of education, which would have ended up in him being either a doctor or an engineer. Instead, he chose to pursue the unbeaten path of practicing music despite being an incredible student in the academic field. Throughout all of this, the journey hasn't been easy for him as he has continued to balance his studies with music. But today, he is ready to conquer the world with his guitar.

The one person who he credits with providing him full support in his endeavor is his mother, Ashima Jain. Rohan says, "My mother has been my Rock of Gibraltar throughout my musical journey and she has stood by me in all the decisions that I took in order to pursue this dream."

The dream is to work with the best music artists in the world and hone his own skills too on the way. Rohan is well on his way to fulfill that dream with the first contract that he has bagged with a Los Angeles-based artist to collaborate on a new musical production in the coming days. However, that is just the beginning of this young man's long-held desire to play music and sing on the world stage. To accomplish the same, Rohan is busy working on multiple projects at once, which include more than 100 shows.

When asked how he is able to carry on with his studies even while putting his soul into making music, Rohan says, "I am passionate about music, so whatever time I get after finishing my studies, goes into music. And I don't feel tired doing that because I am just feeding my passion every single day." Even at such a young age, Rohan is clear about one thing - an individual can excel in his chosen field only if he or she draws creative satisfaction from it without caring about other people's opinions.

Rohan has already done a music production course from I love music academy and has certificates from rockschool for Electric Guitar and Popular Vocals. Besides, he has also done a Business Communication Course from UBC, and an internship with Content Studios during which he worked on the score of a short film. He has already gained practical experience in the field of music with the release of 2 singles that are now available on various music streaming platforms, and live shows as a guitarist and backup singer.

Talking about his present assignment, Rohan says, "I am currently working with a Director/Content Creator based in LA. I work on music composition for a half an hour long pilot episode of a series. I have full autonomy while working with regards to choice of instruments to use and deciding upon cues, etc." The comedy series on which Rohan is working follows the life of an Indian-American based in LA.

The humble musician doesn't hesitate in giving credit where it is due. For starters, Rohan is all praises for noted mentor and his Teacher Yeashu Yuvraj .He says that it was Yeashu who mentored him and instilled in him enough confidence to decide upon a career path of his choice. He is also grateful to his college Advisor Yashi shukla who have nurtured his passion for music and suggested various courses and colleges to pursue for his undergraduate Degree. Yashi's handholding in his college application and guidance created a base for Rohan to decide , what he wants to pursue and now Rohan is aiming to pursue music management Degree.

Today, Rohan is clear about his path to the future. He wants to go and study in the UK because he believes it is the hub of world music and a good place to start his journey as an artist. Rohan is aiming for top competitive programmes in Uk to hone his skills in music industry. Rohan is an inspiration to many teenagers and an evidence of " No Dream is Big"
