ISHK PAR ZOR NAHI (IPZN) is one of the most popular show telecasted on Indian television. Produced by ‘4 Lions Films Pvt. Ltd.', the show had a good run of five months on Sony Entertainment Television (SET). Its last episode was aired recently on 20 August 2021. However, all the episodes are now available, free of cost, on the SonyLiv app to watch.

IPZN is a Romantic-Drama starring Param Singh and Akshita Mudgal. The story is about how two people with different mindsets, fall in love, come together and work hard to build a healthy and successful relationship. Ahaan Veer Malhotra (played by Param Singh) is a businessman and believes in family values. On the other hand, Ishqi (played by Akshita Mudgal) is a middle-class girl who believes love is everything.

IPZN is not just a love story of leads, but each character has its charm and a unique way of thinking. The supporting characters are realistic and logical. They complement the main characters and adds to the interest of the viewers on an individual level too.

The show also generates awareness on various social issues such as domestic violence, body-shaming, victim-blaming, constant pressure on women to be "perfect" and the burden of expectations on their shoulders to maintain their family's reputation. It is progressive and breaks several stereotypes. It questions gender-based biases such as driving is for men, cooking is for women; women are responsible for family values, whereas men are responsible to provide financially. Moreover, it questions superstitions that are blindly followed. Most importantly, the show educates into not trusting anyone blindly and to listen to all the sides before coming to a conclusion. It also highlights how men can also be the victim of false accusations.

Due to its freshness in the content, unique story, and realistic characters, the show touched millions of hearts across the globe. Also, since it came during the lockdown period, it served as recreation for many. "IPZN helped me deal with loneliness during the lockdown because of its intriguing storyline which kept me hooked to the show and distracted me into forgetting my woes for some time." a fan said.

Despite having a huge fan base, the show had to bid adieu to its viewers due to unknown reasons. The news of IPZN going off-air first came in the third week of July. Since then, viewers were trying to convince the channel and its makers to give extension or shift the drama on Sony's OTT platform, SonyLiv. Many Twitter trends took place; some of them crossed 100k+ tweets. Few days in, the news of IPZN been given three months extension came. Although no official confirmation was provided by the channel. On July 28, the final decision of the show going off-air came, which left the fans devastated.

"Every meaningful creative work requires time to build its identity and a place. IPZN did this in such a short period and has managed to attract youngsters and keep them hooked till the end." a fan said. Fans are now trying to convince the channel and makers to bring season 2 with the same cast by trending it on Twitter and contacting them through various mediums. ‘TEAMIPZN RULE HEARTS' was trending on Twitter for 19 hours with 234K+ tweets on 20 August 2021.

The show came as fresh air to the audience who continuously search for good content. In a short span, IPZN and its cast garnered immense love from its national and international audience. However, several tracks were left incomplete due to the sudden shutdown of the show. "The main theme of the show where two persons with different perspectives work together towards a successful marriage is yet to be explored" a fan stated. While another fan stated, "How Ishqi balances between work-life and family, with support of her husband Ahaan, would have been such a great message to the society". "A beautiful story is yet to unfold therefore we are demanding season 2 of IPZN. We hope the channel and the makers listen to our request." a hopeful fan stated.
