Ashok Ojha
The demand for music has drastically increased in the last few years. Indian music, in particular, has always left everyone in awe of its melodious tunes. Zeroing down this passion and working towards it, Ashok Ojha made his remarkable foray into the music industry during his adolescent years. Since school, he has participated in various musical events that saw his love for music grow by leaps and bounds.
One of the most cherishing moments of Ashok's life has been during his college when he auditioned for T-Series as a singer. Coming from an engineering background, Ashok made his mark in the industry by singing different cover songs. Drawing inspiration from the legendary singer Kishore Kumar, Ashok time and again worked on his vocals before collaborating with notable singers and musicians in Mumbai.
Qualified in Electrical Engineering, the singer is working in an Australian firm and has travelled to various countries across Europe and Asia. Having migrated to Australia, Ashok has settled there for the last two decades along with his family. Along with his stint as an engineer, Ashok has been simultaneously working towards his musical career. On his last trip to India, Ashok visited Mumbai and collaborated with Bollywood music composer Sugat Dhanvijay for a song.
Speaking about mastering the skill of singing, Ashok Ojha said, "It is more about practice. The more you practice, the more you become perfect in your art." Till date, he has participated and performed at various local concerts and charitable events in Melbourne and he continues to do so even during the time of the pandemic. In the lockdown, Ashok set up his music studio at home and has been entertaining his listeners with some lovely musical tracks. Furthermore, he stated that music has evolved in today's time and digital platforms have played a crucial role in identifying one's talent.
