Wildlife photography is more than just about clicking pictures. It is like art as each picture has its own story behind it. We come across a young and extremely talented wildlife photographer who has travelled far and wide to click mesmerizing wildlife pictures.

Ramachandiran Govindaraj, is a 34 years old Wildlife Photographer based out of Coimbatore and the title winner of the 2020 DJMPC International Photography Contest. He was also chosen as the Canon Influencer by Canon India and has tons of fan following on his social media accounts.

He is best known for his remarkable photos taken at Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The pictures show the mother giraffe battling to save her one-day-old child as a lioness sneaks up and attacks them. This picture beautifully captured the raw nature of the wild.

Ramachandiran's journey with the lens started more than 8 years back. He hails from a small village in India and grew up in the lap of nature. Thus, he was always fascinated with animals and loved exploring wildlife. His parents fully supported his passion to pursue wildlife photography and he started clicking wildlife pictures. He first spotted a black panther while touring with his wife and was bewitched by the black beauty. He has put up a series of special wildlife photos named 'Shots on Habitant,' on his Instagram handle which has garnered the likes and appreciation of many people.

"Wildlife photography gives me a chance of self-exploration. Clicking animals in their best and natural form gives me a sense of satisfaction. However, I would like to urge everyone to conserve our environment and protect our precious wildlife", says Ramachandiran.

For all the aspiring wildlife photographers Ramachandiran has a piece of advice. 'Patience is the key to capture the best wildlife shots. And one should always remember to never disturb the natural habitat and surroundings of the animals. Do not disturb them while clicking their pictures, and follow all jungle protocols.'
