Raksha Ramaiah turns savior by helping people battle Covid-19

Amidst the darkest and distressing times of the Covid-19 pandemic, several are trying to lend a helping hand to battle out the Covid-19. But if there is one youth who has turned as a saviour to many in these testing times it is RakshaRamaiah and his army of youths from the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress who has gained prominence for helping patients in the state.

Similar to how the Indian Youth Congress president Srinivas B V is earning praises for his efforts to help people looking for help in the devastating second wave of Covid-19, Raksha and his team are working on war footing lending helping hands to those in distress in the state.

From swiftly responding to SOS messages from across the state and Bengaluru on social media to arranging for beds, oxygen, medicines and whatnot, Raksha and his team of army from are winning hearts and praises from all nooks and corners.

At a time when people are scrambling for resources to save the lives of their parents, family members, friends infected by the corona virus, RakshaRamaiah is working in the forefront attending the distress calls on SOS messages on social media requesting for help. He and his team who are active in 24+ districts across the state have assumed significance in the eyes of many citizens for their help in the midst of the raging pandemic.

From helping people in need of emergency medicines, oxygen, and ambulance to bed, he and his team are on war footing helping all those in need. From donating groceries to prepare free foods packets to the needy, migrants and working on ground, Raksha has emerged as a saviour helping Covid-19 patients in receiving proper care, giving them a new lease of life.

Having a ground team of about 2,000 people across the state from the youth Congress under leadership of BV Srinivas, the team has sent over 22k home isolation kits and oxygen to hundreds of homes in the state.

"The pandemic has left no soul unaffected and the people are making desperate attempts to get bed and other resources. But the government has given deaf ears to the requests of people and has mismanaged in handling the Covid-19 crisis. We are working hand in hand to fight corona and doing our best to help those in need," he said.
