believes that acting is nothing but deluding yourself into making the character's circumstances true to you and unless you do that you cannot know the art in its true sense. Born in Rajkot, and raised in Bangalore, he had a vast exposure that instilled in him a feeling to do something different and meaningful. He, therefore, moved to Mumbai, where he embarked on his journey as an Actor. He attended Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares, for a formal training in the field. Soon after fortifying his acting base through Theatre Acting, he felt a profound urge to learn more.

This desire fetched him to Los Angeles, where he undertook further extensive training in American acting at the New York Film Academy. He believes that it was method acting which not only shaped him as an actor but was solely responsible for personal and spiritual growth.

Unadkat's first short film, Alive where he played the character of Dev, was awarded the prestigious Los Angeles Cinema Movie Award in 2018 for the Best Short Film, and was hailed thoughtful and ingenious. It was based on the theme of overcoming your fears. Pranay is a director's actor. He ensures to portray the role's characterization in alignment with the script's demand. He was featured as the lead in the international commercial for Visitor's Coverage Insurance, which was aired in many countries like the USA, UK, UAE & India. Unadkat will be seen in various such notable projects in the near future in Los Angeles. He likes to choose his roles based on their eccentricity. He picks roles that inspire him to outperform himself. Unadkat says "I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to live numerous lives through my profession, and to be able to drive a change in the perspectives of the society through my work."
