Harish Kolasani’s Brainchild National India Hub is a revolutionary concept to Unite, Celebrate and serve

National India Hub

It is no secret to us that the Indian American community in the US is growing incredibly; but like every other community, this one can thrive better when it has a community centre.

But what is National India Hub? It is a non-religious, non-political Indian American community center to bring the community together and work towards raising awareness about their rich and ancient culture and values to unite, celebrate and help each other including the community at large in the U.S. With this dream in mind that Harish Kolasani, the founder of NRI Seva Foundation and National President of National Council of Asian Indian Associations (NCAIA) started the initiative of the National India Hub as an initiative of NRI SEVA Foundation and NCAIA to combine the forces of community service volunteers and the key influencers in the community together to make a greater positive impact.

Vision of the National India-Hub is to help establish a network of Indian American Community Centers across the US by partnering with existing local organizations or by mentoring local passionate community leaders.

These community centres provide services in diverse sectors, such as Healthcare support center for visiting parents or people without insurance, Youth Activity Centre, Senior Centre, Legal Counselling Centre, Awareness Programs, and more. They are arranging a charity clinic, as well as mental health support services for the needy. National India Hub is an open community center that welcomes every individual, leader, and organization that is willing to join them in the venture.

The National India Hub which was originally called as Indian Task Force has worked tirelessly with many community organizations, Physicians, Hotel Associations, educational institutions, student organizations, corporates and healthcare experts to provide aid and relief to the Indian American victims in the 1^st wave of the COVID pandemic.

Harish Kolasani, the soul of this initiative, believes in providing unconditional support to the people of Indian origin. And looking at how National India Hub has been able to help thousands of people in need since last year, one can say that the man has proved everything his initiative claimed to stand for. With the joint efforts from passionate individuals, key influencers and philanthropists Harish Kolasani has brought the dream of many Indian Americans "A Hub connecting all the community together" to life.
