Gaurang Doshi
Producer Gaurang Doshi's multi-starrer 7th Sense show has been in news for quite some time. The controversies around the project have been spreading like a wild-fire on social media. Now the Deewaar producer makes the official statement that 7th Sense has not been shelved, the final cast has been locked and the shooting starts in next 3 months.
Gaurang Doshi's web show â7th Sense' made headlines when few actors moved out after a short schedule of 10 days. Ever since this incident, Doshi, who is the third generation producer, has been dragged through the mud with wild stories but none of the rumours are true.
Doshi has now come forward to offer his side of the story and clear the air. "None of it is true, I am third generation producer, there is no one, out there who has been in business for this long and it's my legacy, a producer cannot have a black dot on his name and the series is pretty much in work. The final cast has been locked and soon the names and the shooting dates will be revealed.
Producers like me don't shelve projects. We have been in lockdown for two years now. Things take time, I am reviving the project with bigger and better ensemble, it is a multi-starrer mounted at a whopping budget and we're shooting in Dubai" added Doshi.
Further Doshi explained that not only his ambitious project 7th Sense has been railed but most of his undertaking are stalled, not shelved. He said, "Pandemic made everything come to a stand-still. For security reason, I didn't commence any shoot as I have to look after everyone. Now, everything has been rescheduled and re-arranged, and soon we will make official announcements. I will bounce back with double the vigour, power and energy. "
Doshi's production 7th Sense, featuring an ensemble of over 150 crew members, is one of the first Bollywood projects to be shot in the UAE since the pandemic started.
7th Sense is a multi-starrer crime thriller.
