Anthony Abraham aka Sunny organizes facilitation programme to honor healthcare workers

We are living through unprecedented times due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the one thing we have learned is that doctors are the living Gods. When we were locked up inside the four walls of our respective houses waiting for the pandemic to get over, the doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff were working tirelessly to save the mankind from the deadly and unpredictable virus.

They have saved millions of lives while endangering their own. India has lost hundreds of doctors in last one year. Despite the selfless service, their duties have gone unnoticed. Let alone giving them respect, the living gods are in danger at all fronts. Every other day, we come across the shocking news of healthcare staff being attacked by public.

As a responsible citizen, the least we can do is recognize their efforts and give them the respect they deserve. And therefore, Anthony Abraham aka Sunny organized a felicitation programme in collaboration with Vijay Karnataka and Traana foundation to honor the selfless service of doctors and nurses while the country is recovering from the second wave of Covid-19. The function was held at Trio World School in Bangalore where healthcare staff from the neighboring hospitals like

Colombia Asia Hospital and Rainbow Hospital were honored for their work. A vaccination drive was also conducted to vaccinate underprivileged people and encourage others to take the vaccines in order to curb the deadly Covid-19 virus.

Actress Sonu Gowda was invited as the special guests who facilitated the doctors and nurses for their dedication and selfless work during the pandemic. The programme was a small attempt to thank the warriors in white coat for their services.

This is not the first time that Anthony Abraham has taken up the task of doing something in public interest. A few months ago, when he witnessed the miseries around, he donated lakhs of rupees to artists and daily wagers in Sandalwood.

Anthony Abraham aka Sunny works as an engineer in Dubai. His philanthropy work in not just limited to mankind, but to the animals as well. Recently, he did the unusual task of adopting an Indian leopard. Speaking on the same, he said, "My small contribution was a bit late, still it's okay." This gesture speaks volumes of how pure his heart his! And that is the reason why the Biggest of superstars in the Sandalwood industry idolize him.
