Amy Yang
In a bid to promote accessible fashion online, Amy Shop Founder and CEO Amy Yang has partnered with Outlets to launch the first-ever "Shopping for All" section of their website. The new section features a wide range of clothing in sizes from 0-28W, in addition to many other products that are available in larger size ranges.
"I am thrilled to be able to work with Outlets on this project," says Yang. "As someone who is passionate about change and innovation, I'm delighted by the opportunity to make shopping more accessible for all."
Outlets will also be expanding its size range on existing styles and adding new lines to the "Shopping for All" section throughout 2018, including accessories like handbags and sunglasses as well as other products such as home goods and kids' clothing. Amy plans to use her client skills from the fitness industry to influence the product mix and sizes.
Outlets is a family-owned online retailer that offers quality, brand name clothing at outlet prices to their customers by cutting out the middleman. They have been around for ten years and currently serve more than 250 million shoppers annually from over 140 countries worldwide with an average of 15,000 new items added every day! Outlet's selection features apparel from brands like Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, American Eagle Outfitters, Jockey International Inc., Jessica Simpson Collection and many others including private label brands such as Work N' Gear® featuring licensed NASCAR products exclusively available on Outlets through licensing agreements with Genesco Sports Licensing & The National Association For Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR).
The synergy between the two brands has been fantastic. Outlets has seen increased traffic and sales through the new "Shopping for All" section of their website, while Amy Shop has received a flood of positive feedback from customers.
In addition, Outlets is pleased with this partnership because its business model aligns closely with Amy's own vision, including social responsibility initiatives like charity work in both local communities and abroad as well as several environmental projects such as recycling clothing waste into insulation products used by housing companies. Yang says she feels very fortunate to be able to do what she loves - helping people find clothes they love at prices they can afford - but also still giving back by donating product or proceeds from some purchases made directly on Amy Shop.
Outlets is also proud to support the #EveryBODYisBeautiful campaign that spreads a positive message of self-esteem and celebrates all body types, shapes, sizes and expressions.
"We are so honored to have partnered with someone as passionate about their business as Amy," says Outlets CEO Kris Hodges. "The 'Shopping for All' section has been an immediate success!"
By partnering with each other's brands, both companies hope to help make shopping more accessible online while continuing their commitment to change in the fashion industry from within by leading by example through innovative technology such as using augmented reality (AR) throughout websites like Outlets where customers can shop directly from images captured via smartphone or tablet - just tap an image to see a 360° view of the clothing or accessory on their own body.
"The launch of 'Shopping for All' is just the beginning," adds Yang. "I truly believe in what Outlets and its customers stand for, which is why I'm so excited about our partnership."
