Kargil War Veteran Dr. Joseph K Thomas is a familiar name in several professions. He has served in the Army for close to 20 years. The idea behind writing the book, involved how hundreds of War Widows and Martyr's families are striving hard to afford three meals a day and educate their children. To change this and bring the issue to light, he sends a ‘monthly pension' from the profit of this book to Smt. Jagir Kaur an 80 years old widow and mother of Late Naik Nirmal Singh of 15 Sikh Light Infantry who was martyred in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in the June 1999 Kargil War, so that she need not work as a labourer anymore and live a decent and respectful life. They plan to include more war widows and mothers of martyrs in the future.

The book is an effort to lead the coming generation and help them become leaders that turn India into the next Superpower.
