Abhinav Shahi & Divesh Darshan
It seems like a fairytale when one hears the story of the musical duo, Abhinav Shahi and Divesh Darshan. But in reality, it was more than just some magical spell. It took many years and strenuous hard work for them to climb the steps of success and make a prominent name in the music industry. Abhinav Shahi is someone, everyone would definitely term as brilliant. He is an Indian music producer, singer and composer, who is known for creating beautiful songs independently with his partner and friend in music, Divesh Darshan, who too is a singer, composer and lyricist friend. Abhinav learnt singing and music programming from a local music studio in Gorakhpur and later managed to set up his own music studio and record label "AV Pro 9 " in Mumbai. This put his childhood dream of having his own music record label in motion.
Abhinav Shahi was born on 9 March 1999 in Mahuawa Buzurg, Kushinagar to a non-musical family of Usha Shahi and Surendra Shahi. He was talented from childhood, and from the very beginning started to listen to music and tried performing at the local level. Divesh Darshan hails from Sakhwar (Bihar), a small village in Darbhanga district, from Rita Devi and Kashikant Mandal.
It is that story where initially Abhinav was not supported as he hailed from a family which loved him but wanted him to become a doctor. But Abhinav did not give up on his dreams and continued his practice with the help of YouTube and the Internet and slowly became proficient. Whereas for Divesh, his story was a bit different. His uncle was related to music, seeing that Divesh's had a knack for music, his love for music was nurtured and he continued to get inspiration and self-confidence. Even though Mumbai is the city of dreams, their journey to Mumbai was not on a smooth path. But with dedication and hard work, they slowly got closer to their ultimate goal, proving to everyone that hard work pays off.
In 2019 Abhinav and Divesh met each other and decided to work together as a music duo. Divesh a marvellous singer, songwriter and composer met the brilliance of Abhinav's music production, singing and composing, making them the perfect duo to establish their strong career.
Abhinav-Divesh is continuously moving on this path and touching the dimensions of every language and putting them in music. As a music producer, Abhinav Shahi has produced music in many languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Maithili and Bhojpuri. This musical duo's first song was "Chal Chalen" which is sung by Divesh Darshan and Abhinav as the composer. He also starred alongside model Pooja Chorghe in the video. Abhinav introduced himself as a vocalist with the song "Umapati (Praise Lord Shiva) '' which was composed by Divesh Darshan, Abhinav also composed the music for the same. Later, another song "Shankar O Shankara" was released. Sung and produced by Abhinav Shahi, the song and his songs composed by Divesh Darshan are available on all major audio streaming platforms like Gaana, Jio Saavn, Wink, iTunes etc.
Apart from doing singles and albums, the duo is also trying their hand at films. Both say that they are eagerly waiting to be a part of a film. But are happy with their independent work. They believe that they are doing what they really wanted to do since childhood. Abhinav Shahi loves to create new music and his favourite instruments are Harmonium, Synthesizer, Piano and other instruments. Where Divesh plays the guitar well. The next music production from the music duo is supposed to be Tere Bin 'The Breakup Anthem', Kohinoor Dekha and many more. Abhinav's upcoming song is "Bhakt Hanuman Ka" which he himself has sung and composed, produced and featuring Jeet Singh Passi. They have already created a dominant place in the music industry and one can only hope for them to grow in the future with record-breaking tunes that are going to win everyone's heart.
