1. Educate yourself
Learn about heart health, risk factors and preventive measures one can take. Knowledge can help alleviate unnecessary fear.

2. Regular health check-ups
Schedule routine check-ups with healthcare providers to monitor your heart health and discuss concerns.

3. Lifestyle changes
Adopt a heart-healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition, regular exercise and stress management techniques like meditation or yoga.

4. First aid training
Learn basic first aid and CPR techniques to be prepared to assist someone experiencing a heart attack. Stay with the person, keep them calm and monitor their vital signs.

5. Seek help 
You can also share your concerns with friends and family, join support groups, or seek therapy to cope with anxiety.
