The much awaited and anticipated smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S8 and galaxy S8+ will officially enter the Indian market on April 19, 2017. With the launch date nearing, Samsung seems to be quite excited about the arrival of its flagship device and its acceptance by the Indian audience.
No official announcement about the price and availability of the phone is made yet. However, it is expected that Galaxy S8 will be priced at around roughly Rs. 46,700, while Galaxy S8+ will be priced at around 54,500.
Samsung galaxy S8 and S8+ will introduce the company's very first in-house voice-based virtual assistant âBixby'. The phone will come with several pre-installed apps that will work with âBixby'. Galaxy S8 sports 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display. Galaxy S8+ is a bit bigger in size and sports 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display. Both the devices are backed by 4GB RAM+ 64GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card). While Galaxy S8 is powered by 3,000mAh battery, Galaxy S8+ is powered by a slightly stronger 3,500mAh battery.
Both the devices are said to run on Samsung's UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
