When we entered veteran designer Krishna Mehta's new store at Chowpatty, we were overwhelmed. Coated in pure white with only the garments splashing the colour element inside, the store resembled a showcase of the designer's trademark style that she has established over two decades - simplicity, elegance and understated opulence.
The store houses the designer's bridal wear line for the season, taking inspiration from all that she's famous for - Indian and fusion ensembles that focus on fabric and texture. The store is not just a gold mine of designs for women, but also offers an eclectic collection for men.
