The festive period is just around the corner and so is the wedding season. If visions of your future shopping bills are already sending you on a guilt trip, visit an exhibition where you can shop for festive saris, jewellery, shawls and bags along side products made by students of the Jai Vakeel School, an NGO that has been working for the aid of special children and adults for the last 67 years.

Hand towels, Diwali candles, dryfruit boxes, paper bags and various other products made by children from the school are on sale at the exhibition. All proceeds from the sales will be used for charity. Along with these products, one can also shop for cocktail and bridal sarees by Vidya Zaveri and Farah Mir.
Apart from classics like the Varanasi weaves and Kanjeevaram silks, Vidya and Farah also have sarees in Georgette, Chiffon and Chantilly. For the bag fanatics, Sunita Mukhi's jewelled clutches are a perfect buy for the season. The exhibition will also showcase jewellery by Shrenikz. A part of the profits from the sales will be donated to Jai Vakeel School.
