Natalie Portman and Prince Harry are perfect marriage material, according to a poll done by a UK-based online wedding planning service. The poll declared them 'Most Desirable Spouse'. Do they have your vote?
A 26 year-old famous for staggering out of posh London pubs and a 29 year-old, who spoofed herself on Saturday Night Live claiming she did drugs while she was in Harvard, have been voted the Most Desirable Celebrity Spouse in a poll conducted by UK-based online wedding planning service: My OK! Wedding.
Harry beat his more popular brother Prince William, Hollywood celebs Robert Pattinson and Brad Pitt, and Brit football star David Beckham to make it to the top of the list.
We hope that a huge number of tennyboppers participated in the poll to justify 16 year-old pop icon Justin Bieber's inclusion in second place. Natalie faced stiff competition from international models Kate Moss and Gisele Bundchen, pop stars Katy Perry and Rihanna, and Harry's soon-to-be-bhabhi Kate Middleton to bag the top spot.
Unlikely choice?
With his knack for strolling into controversies (remember the alleged racist and homophobic remarks, the costume party fiasco, the several drunken parties?), Harry might have seemed an unlikely candidate to top the list. But with British tabloids going on a feeding frenzy with news of the Prince William-Kate Middleton wedding and Harry's role as Best Man in it, not to mention rumours of his pizza date with on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy, he has managed to stay in the limelight and under the glare of the paparazzi.
Natalie, on the other hand, might seem quite the take-home-to-momma girl (provided 'momma' is okay with your girl sporting a baby bump!) in her Viktor & Rolf Couture and Azzaro gowns. From the time she made her Lolita-esque film debut in the critically acclaimed Leon, the Jerusalem-born actress has managed to impress (think Black Swan, ignore No Strings Attached). Add to that her psychology degree from Harvard, the fact that she 'married' Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader) in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and showed her dedication to her craft by shaving her head for the film V For Vendetta. With three major Best Actress awards -- Golden Globe, BAFTA and Screen Actors Guild Award -- in her kitty this year, Natalie gets our vote for beating both Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian to top spot.
