Mahima Choudhary talks about her journey from busy actress to frantically-busy mom

Mahima, who looked like she needs to lose a little post pregnancy weight, walked into an interiors boutique, looking radiant in an orange knee-length dress with frills.

"I have come to Bangalore several times earlier. I really like the city. The weather is nice. There are nice places to hang out and the people are friendly. The fascinating thing about the city is that it has an interesting mix of people artistes, writers, techies, corporate honchos, musicians, entrepreneurs..." she trills.

Homebound

Married to Bobby Mukherjee and now proud mother of two-year-old Rihanna, she explains her interest in interiors.

"My husband is a high flying architect. He sources some of the best brands and products from his travels across the world. Spending a lot of time with him, I have also developed an interest in home decor," she confesses.

Balancing act

"I am a completely devoted wife and mother. I love playing with my daughter Rihanna. She is a smart kid and spending time with her is fun. It's fun to see her growing up. I enjoy watching her reactions when she experiences new things. My daughter loves playing in the shower. She is a complete water baby," gushed the besotted mother.

"When I was working, life was hectic and I didn't find much time to learn cooking. Now I am keen to learn. I cook at home sometimes and surprise my husband with new dishes and different cuisines. I am thoroughly enjoying my new role," she adds.

What next?
"I am looking at scripts and if I find anything interesting I wouldn't mind getting back to acting," says Mahima. Is any filmmaker listening?
