Lenovo launches budget phablet K3 Note in China

Chinese tech giant Lenovo on Wednesday launched its new budget phablet K3 Note in China. The phablet is priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs 9,000) and will be available for purchase in the Chinese market from 1st April

New Delhi: Chinese tech giant Lenovo on Wednesday launched its new budget phablet K3 Note in China. The phablet is priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs 9,000) and will be available for purchase in the Chinese market from 1st April.

The company has reportedly stayed any word on when it plans to launch K3 Note in international markets. Also, Lenovo is offering budget phablet's Teana variant that sports a ceramic piece vibration speaker comes with a price tag of CNY 999 (approximately Rs 10,000).

The phablet features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution, display sporting 401ppi pixel density. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo's Vibe User Interface on top.

The device is clocked at 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor complimented by 2GB of RAM. On the innards, it gets 16 GB of in-built storage capacity which can be expanded upto 32 GB through a microSD card.

The device gets a 13-megapixel camera on the rear surface with LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfie enthusiasts. On the connectivity front, the budget phablet gets 4G (TD-LTE/ LTE), Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.

To fuel its operations, it is packed with a 3000mAh battery for long lasting usage. Along with all these features and specifications, the device measures 152.6x76.2x7.99mm and weighs 150 grams. Buyers can choose from White and Yellow colour variants.

If one assesses the features and price of the K3 Note, it looks that Lenovo has tried to take on much anticipated devices of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and Meizu M1 Note.
