All you ladies out there, welcome DJ Priyanjana, who is coming to the city to take over the console and make the ladies groove to her tunes. The Guide chatted with the young DJ who specialises in Progressive House, Deep Tech and Techno.

Excerpts from an interview:
Tell us about your journey so far and your inspiration.
Growing up in a household that was musically inclined shaped my interest in music. It's been eight years since I have been DJing professionally. I have never felt any lesser for being a girl. The music speaks for itself. Good music, good vibe and an open-minded, energetic crowd is all that matters.
I would like to mention DJ Sanjay Dutta; he's been my biggest influence and inspiration in every way with his music as have been DJs Sasha and John Digweed.
How is it performing in Pune?
I have been fortunate to play in this city several times. It is one of my favourites. Most club-goers are pretty clued in with what they like and when they come to a gig they are expect me to play as per my style. Both Mumbai and Pune have a fantastic party crowd and I am happy to play
for them.
What you will be playing today?
I will be playing Deep House and would like to keep it Progressive in every way. As it also depends on the time factor, one has to keep that in mind and accordingly play music. I opt for Techno as the night progresses and keep the tempo to suit the mood of the given place.
