A hub for young bookworms, MCubed (The Maharashtra Mitra Mandal) library, co-founded by Vibha Kamat, Vaishali Shinde and Sonal Bimal, is geared to indulge kids in myriad children's activities through a fest starting on November 23.
"This was supposed to be the children's programme of the Celebrate Bandra festival, which takes place in November every other year. Even though Celebrate Bandra is notu00a0happening this year, we decided to go ahead with the events that had already been planned. We would love to make it a regular happening," says Kamat.
Shinde calls the event a community effort, since, most of the people who are associated with the event are Bandra citizens. "But we plan to also have people come in from other parts of the city," she stresses.
The main theme this year isu00a0storytelling in all its forms - puppets, dance and music, and the age-old art of using magic and the imagery of the spoken word. So, head here for a mélange of activities.
