How expensive is IVF treatment, what should I expect and how soon will I get pregnant?

Many people feel that IVF is expensive but it need not be so. The final expenditure usually depends on the type of stimulation protocol needed for your particular case as the costs of medications greatly vary. Most good centres will give you a fairly good idea of the expenses upfront e.g. at Cocoon Fertility our patients exactly know what the charges are for a particular procedure and there are no hidden charges.

Current success rates for IVF are benchmarked at 35 - 40% at first attempted embryo transfer. Around 75 to 80% couples will be pregnant at the 3rd embryo transfer. Newer IVF techniques like blastocyst culture, sequential transfer etc have made IVF the most successful of all available fertility treatments.
