Tangerine is a multi-disciplinary arts studio in Bandra that provides a variety of alternative workouts. Their roster includes zumba, jazz, ballet and meditation flow exercises, which are a fun and refreshing break to a treadmill and weights. One of the classes we found especially interesting is the Aerial Silk and Antigravity Yoga class led by Lara Saluja. Here you will stretch and strengthen your core without putting pressure on your joints and back. Swaths of silk fabric will help you suspend mid-air and perform yoga like you've never seen it before.

Led by Hetall Mandiwala, Frequencee hosts a range of innovative and invigorating fitness experiences. Mandiwalla, a veteran, who's been in the fitness field for over 12 years, has programmes and workout routines that include dance, core exercises, toning, strengthening and ab workouts all under one roof. One of the classes that you must try is the trampolining class where you'll combine the fun of bouncing around with a serious workout. Some studies have revealed that you can burn off the same number of calories in a trampolining session in 10 minutes as with 30 minutes of jogging. This activity impacts core areas like the muscles and torso.
