Please put aside the fact that James Hince, guitarist of The Kills, recently married supermodel Kate Moss. Concentrate on the music instead, as this approach will prove to be a little more rewarding.
One uses the word 'little' simply because little appears to have changed on their fourth album. Much of it is either loud (Nail in My Coffin), bluesy (Baby Says) or surprisingly catchy (Satellite), much like their last effort. The manic energy they brought to their debut (Keep on Your Mean Side) eight years ago is missing.
Then again, considering they can still churn out something like the track Wild Charms, they shouldn't be written off just yet.
