New Delhi: BlackBerry on Monday launched Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite, a variant of Blackberry's flagship Porsche Design P'9983 phone that was launched last year.
The new variant comes with exclusive graphite-metallic colored elements and It's priced at USD 1,950 (roughly Rs.1,22,250).
Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite body gets the finest, hand-wrapped leather instead of the glossy back akin to the old model.
The company revealed that the phone will be available for purchase at selected stores of Porsche Design, selected carriers and retail outlets across the globe.
The device features a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED HD display with 720 x 720 pixels resolution touch screen. It comes clocked at 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor complimented by 2GB RAM. For internal storage part, Blackberry's luxury range phone gets 64GB inbuilt storage capacity, which is expandable upto 128GB through microSD card.
Fueling its operations is a 2100mAh battery for long lasting usage. Apart from all this, the handset sports 8-megapixel camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device gets options of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetoth 4.0, LTE, FM Radio, Micro-USB, and Micro-HDMI.
Blackberry's QWERTY smartphone has Porsche Design PIN, which will be unique to every user and provided by the company, this feature is considered to be one of the most prominent feature the new variant gets.
BlackBerry and Porsche has collaborated for the fourth time to offer Porsche Design P'9983 to the users after previous collaborations done for BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983, BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9982, and BlackBerry Porsche P'9981.
