Asus is expected to launch a battery-centric smartphone in India on February 7, 2017. The phone is expected to be named as ZenFone 3s Max (ZC521TL). This phone will be an updated version of the ZenFone 3 Max that launched in India last November. Battery will be the primary focus on the ZenFone 3s Max, because it will be powered by a stronger 5,000mAh battery and in turn will have a longer battery life. The battery can deliver a standby time of up to 34 days with one-time charging.
Apart from the improved battery, the phone will feature a full metal body along with 5.2-inch 720p display. It will sport a fingerprint scanner at the front, on screen navigation keys, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, dual SIM slot, Android Marshmallow-based ZenUI 3.0 and 4G LTE connectivity.
Interestingly, ZenFone 3s Max will support reverse charging and the smartphone can be used as a portable power bank to charge other devices. It will be available in gold and black colours. Asus has not yet declared the price and the availability of the battery-centric ZenFone 3s Max.
