The festival organised by Swaraprabha Trust, is a tribute to the late stalwarts of Hindustani music such as Pandit Suresh Haldankar, Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki and Pandit CR Vyas. "Swaranjali is shradhanjali or reverence to the swars, the musical notes, in honour of the three great doyens of Hindustani classical music. Besides their brilliant performances, their contribution is immense for they trained and guided several classical vocalists to carry on the great India musical tradition," said Amit Karekar from the Swaraprabha Trust.
