The Indian Red Cross Society has taken the help of social networking to make blood search easy for people in need of a particular blood group. Gauging the hardships to find the right donor, and the risk involved in the delay, this initiative was launched on Facebook few weeks back. Anybody can be part of this cause.u00a0
The process is simple - all one needs to do is to include your blood group in your Facebook name. (For example: Shefali Ahir, A positive). The result of this information would be that by doing so, you have already contributed to the cause of blood search and helped save many lives.
Now, when someone is in need of blood, all they have to do is type in the required blood group in the Facebook search bar and they will be able to see the entire list of people with the matching blood group. It's time to make this happen, so spread the word!
