Dear Diana,
I have been married for the past five years. I no longer feel attracted to my wife. We constantly argue over household stuff. There is nothing left in the relationship. My wife keeps making an issue of everything. The only time we interact is to argue. I feel horrible about the situation. I want a way out, but my wife's family is making bizarre allegations that there is another woman in my life. They have been telling people that I have lost interest in my wife as I want her to get out of my life. This is utter lies as there is no other woman on the scene. I have sat for hours analysing what went wrong. When I look back, I feel that we were just not made for each other. Within a month of marriage, we were having issues. The situation is causing a major problem for me even at work as I am unable to concentrate. Should I just divorce her?

Dear Parmesh,
It looks like there is nothing left in your marriage. There have been severe compatibility issues and now things are on collision course. It is better that you move on. But your wife's kin allege that you are having an extra-marital affair. So do not be in haste to seek a separation or it will be believed that there is another woman in your life. In such a situation, all fingers will point at you and she will be the poor soul. So before you seek a separation, ensure that you make it clear that there are incompatibility issues and not an extra-marital affair that is causing marital discord. Once her family and the rest get the clear picture, you can then seek a divorce due to incompatibility issues.
