Dear Diana
Dear Diana,
I was in love with this guy a couple of years ago. He was my first love. I thought he was the guy for me. The time I spent with him was bliss. He told me I was the one for him. He was married, but he said he loved me. That's what mattered to me. He told me he would be with me forever. However, barely a year later, we went our ways. One day, I did not know what happened to him. He started acting strange. He did not want to talk to me. He told me not to meet him. I was taken aback as he did not give me an explanation. And then he just disappeared and told me not to communicate with him. It has been years that I have not been in touch with him. I do not know where he is now, but even after years, I have not been able to move on. Though it is the distant past, he is still a part of me. I keep remembering him and the things he told me. It is as if he is still stuck somewhere in my head.

Dear Sherry,
The break up was too sudden and you had no inkling of it. As your guy did not give you a reason, it was not possible to seek closure. No wonder you still pine for him. Years have passed by and there is no contact with him. So why do you still keep thinking about him? Stop remembering what he said and what you did. This man used you and when he was bored, he dumped you. It is clear that he was with you for a purpose. He used you to satisfy his physical urges. Also, the fact that he was married. There was no future in the relationship. Would he have dumped his wife for you? Chances are that his wife may have found out and created a scene which compelled him to cut off all ties with you. He was having an extra marital affair and realisation must have dawned on him that he was cheating on his wife. Whatever the reason, you are better off without him.
