The 'Mumbai to Vietnam with Chef Huyen' food festival at Novotel Mumbai International Airport serves a wide variety of authentic dishes for all food connoisseurs.
With a mix of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, the festival is an absolute delight for those looking to satisfy their taste buds with new flavours. Chef Huyen who has handpicked the menu for the festival says she had a great time hosting guests and serving them her speciality. “Being in India feels good. Everyone is warm and friendly here.” When asked about an Indian dish she loves, she instantly says, “Butter chicken and garlic naan are my favourite and are the best combination ever".
As a welcome drink, sip on some refreshing goodness of coconut with their Dua Twist.
Among other options, begin your meal with Rice Noodle Soup which is a blend of spicy and tangy flavours. While this one is a must-try, you can also try their soul-satisfying chicken and mushroom soup or carrot and fresh corn soup.
After the soup, they recommend relishing a fluffy and comforting Vietnamese pancake, which is available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Diners can try their edamame dumplings and crystal vegetarian dumplings that melt the moment you take a bite. The dumplings are served with flavourful condiments like soy sauce, chilli sauce and scallion sauce that greatly enhance the taste of the Vietnamese specials.
As a part of the main course, all meat lovers can try their grilled chicken with panda leaf, grilled cuttlefish in sate sauce and deep fried fish with spicy sauce with steamed rice.
As for vegetarian dishes, dig into the goodness of wok-fried glass noodles with mushroom and vegetable, sauteed vegetable with mushroom, deep-fried paneer with lemongrass and chilli and grilled eggplant with scallion sauce.
After a soulful meal, don’t forget to check out the art exhibition that displays paintings by Asian Art Homes. At this festival, you are sure to have a remarkable sensory experience.
