The menu offers an elevated Modern European and Asian menu, serving sumptuous meals and an expansive beverage list round-the-clock. Apart from serving signature dishes and complementing beverages across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, the restaurant also offers a menu selection which is available all through the night.

Soups
The French Onion Soup with Gratinated Gruyere Cheese served with herbs and baguette will cloak you in much-needed warmth, while you watch the rain. Bound by a little sweetness from the onions and subtle flavour of cheese, it is one of two soups on the menu. With the other being a Hearty Minestrone Soup with Pesto Focaccia, it is definitely going to be a perfect accompaniment during this weather in Mumbai.

Breakfast and salads
While the breakfasts during the morning, there are four three different salads available in the all-day menu. While the first one is Kale and Barley Salad with Feta Cheese and Pomegranate, they also have the all-time Caesar Salad with a choice of classic chicken or prawns. However, we decided to go with the Poached Lobster, Fennel and Orange Segments salad. The salad was fresh, light and zesty as every fork was full of sweet and juicy seafood that paired well with the citrus that was not overpowering but perfectly balanced by the greens.

European or Asian?
While the Chilean Seabass is recommended, we opted for the Calamarata Pasta Squid with Spicy Chunky Tomato Sauce and it was deliciously rich. A take on the traditional Italian dish, the squid ring-shaped pasta is actually not only has calamari squid rings-shaped pasta but also has the seafood tossed with a familiar tomato base. Loaded with a generous portion of bite-sized calamari and pasta, the dish came alive with flavour in every bite from the sauce which was a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavour.

Coffee and wine
While there is no particular time to drink wine, guided by in-house sommelier Pradnya Kulkarni, we sip a delicious red wine Michel Lynch, AOC Bordeaux, that was not completely dry yet crisp on the palate, as red wines, she said usually would go well with red sauce and we took her advice.

On the other hand, the restaurant boasts of the Modbar coffee machine that lets diners choose from espresso, cappuccino, cortado and even affogato, or even make their own. We chose the latter to get the best of both worlds -- coffee and ice cream to end our meal, and we loved both. The vanilla ice cream loaded in the coffee is a sweet treat with a powerful kick from the coffee, but a much-needed one after a delicious meal and amid the ongoing weather.
