As the name goes, Mutuswami Cafe of the Ramee Group of Hotels is a South Indian cafe with a contemporary twist. Baithack - Taste of Kulhad (Mulund)
Co-founded and run by mompreneurs Smita Uppara and Swastika, Baithack is a place where people of all ages can spend time together over a hot chai and coffee served in Kulhad (Earthen cups).
The cafe, though retains the essence of Indian culture, exudes a modern vibe. Its sleek furnishing and small seating space create an inviting environment for those who wish to simply sit in a calm space with some good food.
Here, one can indulge in sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, pasta, wraps, Maggie momos and nachos along with cold coffee, frappes, iced tea, shakes and coolers. Their beverages like tea and frappes are available in wide variations that cater to the taste buds of every customer.
The founders say their customers are always satisfied since the small space of the cafe allows them to connect with the customers on a one-on-one basis. Additionally, it enables them to provide tailored services. "We take our feedback very seriously to serve complete satisfaction to our customers."
Shelter by Javaphile (Versova)
Founded by Suren Joshi, Shelter by Javaphile is the perfect place to unwind. The cafe offers a warm ambience, a rooftop view and diverse food options that ensure one spends a relaxing time with friends. Joshi says, "We primarily serve a diverse and innovative menu focusing on all-day breakfast, healthy bowls, interesting salads, wood-fired sourdough pizzas and freshly baked desserts."
At this place, dishes like Congee bowls, sourdough pizzas, green goddess smoothie bowls, Tiramisu French Toast, and Burrata Shroom Burgers among others are commonly ordered by a group of friends since these are dishes that can be shared. Their hot chocolate and signature coffees too are equally comforting.

Koa (Juhu)
This cafe is for those who fancy a chic setting. The interiors at Koa draw their inspiration from the liberating spirit of the Bohemian lifestyle. Its new outlet in Juhu exudes an alfresco vibe, capturing the essence of the Mediterranean with its clean, chic design and elements inspired by the stunning aesthetics of Greece.
Koa's founder Prasuk Jain opines, "Small cafes offer a comfortable and relaxed setting, making them ideal social spaces. Young people often seek places where they can gather, socialise, and engage in meaningful conversations. The intimate environment of a quaint cafe fosters a sense of belonging, creating a space for friends or individuals to connect without the noise and distractions often found in larger establishments." Recognising this, Koa lets its customers sit and enjoy for as long as they feel.
The cafe offers a diverse range of cuisines. From serving breakfast to lunch and dinner, one can spend a relaxed time at the cafe indulging in some delectable dishes with friends. For breakfast, one can relish dishes like Mushroom Florentine, Sweet Corn Potato Rosti, Koa Egg Decker, French Toast, and Belgian Waffles.
