Superheroes have occupied an important place in both Indian and global pop culture. Each superhero’s distinct style, defined by their suit, lends character to their powers and stories. We take a look at some of the most famous superheroes’ iconic suits.

Shaktimaan
India’s OG superhero dons a maroon suit, with a bright gold sun in the middle, which is symbolic of his superhuman powers. It also features a gold collar, gallace and shield around the waste.
This superhero costume was all the rage among the 90s kids with many even recreating the look themselves.
Spider Man
Well, another beauty in red! Spider Man’s suit is a fan favourite. Almost every superhero fan has loved and wanted to recreate the look.
Spider Man wears a red and blue skin-tight suit, which features a web-like pattern and a spider in the middle, symbolic of the name. Red boots and gloves complete the look.

Krrish
Another beloved Indian superhero, Krishh, played by Hrithik Roshan, dons an all-black suit and covers his eyes with a mask to protect his identity.
The Krrish franchise has been responsible for bringing the superhero culture to mainstream Bollywood, and the character has shaped Indians' opinion of what a superhero dresses like.
Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman, one of the most popular superheroes in the DC universe, wears a red, blue and gold suit. Her costume has undergone several changes over the years. In the movie, which featured Gal Gadot, the superhero suit features a shield-like vest, skirt and a tiara with a star symbol. The vest has an eagle and she wears metallic bands on her hands. The whole look seamlessly blends form and function.

Batman
Who doesn’t know the popular Batsuit? It consists of a grey body suit, layered with a black cape, cowl and gloves. The chest features the bat symbol, which is the character logo. It also has a yellow utility belt which contains a variety of gadgets.
