Lehenga

Lehenga is one of the most common and popular outfit choices for Diwali. One can experiment with styling using dupatta, accessories, etc. 

Wamiqa Gabbi looked elegant in a blue and green multi-coloured lehenga with minimal make-up and accessories. 

Nushrratt Bharuccha wore a bright pink lehenga. She paired it with jewellery like mang tika and bangles. 

Karishma Tanna dazzled in a rose gold mirror-work lehenga. A dupatta added a graceful touch to her outfit. 

If you want to style a lehenga innovatively, take cue from Divyanka Tripathi, who opted for a blue ethnic lehenga skirt paired with a matching blazer-like blouse. She completed her look with a silver bag. 

Saree

Saree is another popular choice when it comes to Diwali outfits. One can expriemnt with the drap and blouse to create a fresh look.

Rakul Preet Singh opted for a chic blue saree, which was paired with a silver embellished blouse. Minimal jewellery completed her look. 

Mahira Sharma's saree look gave contemporary vibes as she opted for a sky blue sequined saree with a white sleeveless blouse. A silver neckpiece completed her look. 

Shraddha Arya wore a radiant yellow saree which she paired with gold jewellery and a clutch. 

Pooja Gor looked elegant in a saree, which she paired with a pearl nechlace and earrings. 

Anarkali dress

Anarkali kurtas are not only elegant but also simple to carry, making them a good choice for the festive season. 

At Ektaa Kapoor's Diwali party, Mrunal Tahkur appeared in a gold floor-length anarkali kurta with an emoridered black jacket. Oxidised jewellery completed her look. 

Hina Khan opted for a multi-coloured floor-length anarkali kurta, which she paired with a net dupatta. 

Indo-western fusion outfits

If you want to experiment with ethnic outfits, you can opt for an Indo-westen fusion looks like co-ord sets, taking inspiration from these celebs. 

The host Ektaa Kapoor opted for a green and white co-ord set with a matching cape. 

Tahira Kashyap Khurrana wore a black and silver emboridered indo-western outfit. She matched it with transparent pump heels and minimal jewellery. 

Sonali Bendre wore a kurti and dhoti pants, which she paired with a dupatta and heavy oxidised jewellery.

Riddhi Dogra kept it simple and sylish with a palazzo co-ord set and matching jacket.
