"My most favourite red carpet look on Aishwarya was the pink pastel gown by Gaurav Gupta inspired by Venus. It was a fashion meets art moment. The immaculate construction of the gown, and the tasteful colour merged beautifully well. The side-swept smooth curls, light make up and jewellery complimented the dress perfectly. Everything about the look screamed grace and it was one of the best red carpet looks this season," says designer Swatee Singh.
Aishwarya Rai aced the look with her flawless hair and make-up. Beauty professional and education director at Enrich, Asha Hariharan says, "Personally, the Venus gown with beautiful pleats was love at first sight. The drama that the designer has created with a wave-like structure at the back was outstanding. I believe it was a great idea to keep her hair open and tousled and slightly wave; it complimented the wave that the gown had. The make-up looks on point as the actress went with light metallic pink lipstick, and a good amount of shimmer - opting for nice and flushed pink cheeks and highlighted cheekbones. Rai wore a lot of mascara and eyelashes and winged her eyes for her eyes. I feel that this is similar to the other look she wore with a black ball gown. The look would do great with a combination of metallic lipstick and glitter on the eyes with a mix of colours from pink to mauve; one needs to carefully place it in such a way that it highlights the colour of her eyes too."
Deepika Padukone in Sabyasachi

"Deepika left everyone awestruck in the Bengal Tiger saree consisting of the hand embellished sequin stripes in the colours of the Bengal tiger. This spectacular concept saree from Sabyasachi showcases both Indian Silhouettes and Indian Culture to the world in a really contemporary way. Kind of like an Indian version of the animal print. The actor teamed the saree with an all-black sequin bustier which made sure the attention just stayed on the pattern of the saree. The drapes of the striped saree gave the illusion of movement of the Bengal tiger while keeping the grace intact," shares designer Sadhvi Suri.
Commenting on her impressive eye make-up and hair, Hariharan adds, "The saree and her overall look here are very retro and have a modern look to them. As the saree is just so strong, it makes sense to create a make-up and hair look that's equally stunning. The actress has put on a warm, muted, and slightly darker foundation that has been exploded with warm tones of blush and rouge. The eyeliner is not just winged but there is an overdose of an entire eye that has been painted black. This has been done very skilfully and tactically as sometimes one needs to ensure it looks elegant and looks proportionate without crossing the line of looking comical."
Hariharan elaborates on Padukone's hair, "The bun is textured and high and because of that, it adds to the fact that it's more of a fashion statement. The representation of the band that goes across the hair as it's very reminiscent of Indian jewels and Indian bridal jewellery where people wear maang tikkas. I must also say that it's beautiful and a lot of Indian girls can copy this look and hairstyle. Of course, it doesn't have to be this exaggerated, but a winged eyeliner looks beautiful."

"Padukone in LV's red gown looked nothing short of stunning. The bright gown is elaborate, so her makeup was kept subtle, and she seemed to be flushed with healthy skin, without overdoing the eyes. The focus was just on the skin and to highlight the outfit instead of contrasting it she wore a fabulous red lipstick. She wore this red lipstick which stood out on her face, and her skin looked moisturised and had a beautiful sheen to it. The actress has been known to keep her hair in front with ruffles and slightly undone and the sides are nice and tight and well tucked back; this was a beautiful way of wearing a hairstyle that was simple yet fashion-forward," shares Hariharan.
