If you have been in Mumbai long enough, you know about Cheap Jack on Hill Road. While it is known for its gifting options, it turns into a different world as soon as December starts with many people buying a cart full of Christmas decorations. Photo Courtesy: Nascimento Pinto

The 90-year-old business has expanded into three shops over the years, situated side-by-side. If you have been a patron, you may need no introduction but if you are going there for the first time, you will definitely be greeted by the Kachwala family. Choose different kinds of decorations including candy canes, wreaths and baubles to add to your tree, home walls and more for items starting at Rs 50 and going up to Rs 10,000 too. If that doesn't suit your pocket, cross the road and visit Roshan Bharmar's roadside stall. It has smaller sized Christmas trees that can fit just anywhere in your home or even workspace. Knowing the trade like the back of his hand, the 58-year-old will point out to all other different kinds of decorations ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 400. Photo Courtesy: Nascimento Pinto

A few metres away, stop over at another stall for Christmas decorations if you haven't made up your mind. The stall run by Nandakumar Shinde's family, after he passed away, has everything you need. While it is easier to spot them during the day, you may have to search for them in the night because they don't have lights set up but that doesn't mean they won't cater to your Christmas decoration needs. For those who have seen Javed Khan's key maker stall, you must know that he is also selling Christmas decorations, and has been doing so for over 10 years. If you bargain well with the salesmen, they may just give you a good deal for items ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 6,000. Photo Courtesy: Nascimento Pinto

Along the same route, you will also find the Jay Maharashtra stall that also has decorations and Christmas trees priced between Rs 50 and Rs 4,000.  Last but not the least, if you are still to get your statues, head over to St Paul's Book and Art Centre opposite Duruelo Convent High School to get one piece to add to your pre-existing set or the whole new one starting from Rs 1,500.
