Christmas is celebrated in Mumbai like around the world on December 25 by followers of Christianity.

While the festival takes place in the latter part of December, Mumbaikars start decorating their houses a few weeks in advance

Usually, Hill Road in Bandra is a popular spot for shopping apart from Crawford Market. However, Mahim is also a major hub that many people flock to during their time of the year

Many people shop for Christmas trees, they also come for decorations that are changed every other year but not without their pick of Santa masks and hats

The festive season sees different parts of Mumbai in red and green and all lit up and instantly makes people happy and the festivities around St Michael's Church in Mahim showcases the spirit in more than one way

The festivities continue not only on December 25 but also through the week till January 1, which is celebrated as New Year, around the world.
