With Grammy-award winning Lakshminarayana Shankar or L Shankar as he is more popular known, on the double violin, the show began on a musical note as she showcased why people love him not only in India but around the world.

L Shankar, who was previously with fusion band Shakti and played with the likes of Frank Zappa, was joined on stage by Indian percussionist and 2024 Grammy award winner, V Selvaganesh on the kanjira and the mridangam, who matched every dramatic tune by the former and immediately depicted why he is known as one of India's best percussionists.

V Selvaganesh, whose father is the mighty Vikku Vinayak, was also joined on stage by his son Swaminathan Selvaganesh, who joined him on the kanjira, and together gave a mesmerising performance on the day.

The duo along with L Shankar, was also joined world-renowned Padma Bhushan recipient Vikku Vinayakram on the ghatam as he not only brought alive the performance but also had an interactive few minutes as the audience clapped to his beats.

Lastly, they were joined by Ustad Fazal Qureshi on the tabla, who being as dramatic as can be with his breathtaking skills, also had a little fun with the V Selvaganesh and the audience, making it a wholesome experience for all Indian music lovers with the performance curated and promoted by Paytm Insider and Hyperlink.  Together they not only played the likes of Joy and C'mon Baby Dance With Me but also Isis from the 1977 Shakti album 'Natural Elements'.
