IN PHOTOS: Van Gogh’s 360° immersive exhibition arrives in Mumbai

A never-seen-before experience has transformed walls and floors into walkable paintings that surpass the realms of physical and digital art. The exhibition is an insight into Van Gogh’s elusive imagination, emotions and mental state

Hosted by the Canadian company Festival House Inc., the exhibition projects his masterpieces on mammoth floor-to-ceiling displays in loop animations for about 45-60 minutes

The immersive show is taking place at the World Trade Centre, Cuff Parade in Mumbai. The show is scheduled to run from January 20 to February 17 and will be open from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm throughout the week

With ceilings as tall as 25 ft. and a floor area of 10,000 sq. ft., the displays will completely immerse the viewers with vivid paintings that convey Van Gogh's emotions and mental state

Van Gogh 360° is a three-dimensional world that will exhilarate the senses. The futuristic technology deploys large-scale 360° display achieved through dozens of projectors and high-powered computer servers that will deliver crisp and compelling images

The images transform seamlessly over an original classical soundtrack designed for the show

The visceral show is accompanied by an Education Room where the patrons can learn about the maestro’s art and life. Towards the end, there is a merchandise store to buy exclusive Van Gogh collectibles
