As they make their way to Mumbai for the celebratory victory parade, Mumbaikars are eagerly awaiting their arrival. Crowded trains, stations and roads, load chants, blue jerseys- these are all common sights in the city today.

Cricket fans from across the city are making their way to Marine Drive, eagerly waiting to watch the T20 World Cup-winning Indian cricket team live at the victory parade.

While crowded Mumbai locals are not an unusual sight, today is a special occasion. All compartments (both first and second class) of trains travelling towards Churchgate are fully packed. The trains are filled with hues of blue as Mumbaikars head towards Marine Drive and Wankhede for the victory parade. Officials are on high alert, and strict ticket-checking is happening. Chants of 'India, India', 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Mumbai Cha Raja Rohit Sharma' can be heard in the local trains.
