Celebrating jazz music, Hancock took to the stage to perform with members of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz at UCLA Ensemble Class of 2025, and Leonard Brown on guitar
The ensemble had Ebunoluwa Daramola on drums, Destiny Diggs-Pinto on bass, Alden Hellmuth on alto saxophone, Miles Lennox on piano, Sasha Ripley on tenor saxophone and Yakiv Tsvietinskyi on trumpet.
In a scintillating performance on the night, Hancock also performed with Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves, who also performed the classic 'Morning Has Broken' with the ensemble
The American jazz legend also entertained the audience with his unique tunes, as he tuned the piano on stage, while being his goofy self leading to a lot of fun and laughter during the performance.
Reeves also took to the stage to perform with Indian sitar maestro Purbayan Chatterjee and tabla player Swarupa Ananth-Sawkar displaying a beautiful amalgamation of jazz and Indian classical music
