The world has been experiencing several levels of changes as an era goes on to the next. When we closely look at the way things and perspectives has changed over time, we might be able to notice that India, has developed in several aspects in terms of education, technology, health and poverty. These changes has directly affected the ways in which things are run in our society and how people perceive issues from their perspective.

Syed Ali Asgar Razvi, an entrepreneur from India, who has been a keen observer of the injustice happening inside our society and system, despite the way things have attained another level of growth, is highly disturbed by the fact that no matter how far things go the good way, there comes certain situations where people stoop below their level of thinking and act foolishly.

The incident that caused an uproar in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as made Syed Ali question the working of our society was regarding the issue of ragging conflict between third and eighth-semester students at Kashmir Law College in Nowshera, Central Kashmir's Srinagar district. This conflict later resulted into a clash in the college grounds, with students beating each other on the campus. A third-semester student of the college complained that he was thrashed by eighth-semester students to the point where his eardrum was fractured.

Syed Ali says, "This incident has shown how much moral value has been diminished among the youth, most importantly student. There are some things that are taught additional to the academic knowledge that a child attains from their learning institutions. These values should be taken up by the child in the right way and should be reflected in their behaviour at all times. What's the advantage of learning, if one doesn't know how to treat the others in a good manner?"

These kind of incidents has been turned into a normal issue that happens in the everyday life of a college student. Students are ignorant of the rules they are expected to follow and takes it as a pride to show violence all over the campus. To this issue Syed Ali adds that, "Anti ragging campaigns campaigns should be taken more seriously, with regard to this incident that has gone out of hand. We can't have more students get bruised and beaten up by their peers. This is not just a physical abuse, but the way in which a student is ragged can even affect his mental state, that can scar him for generation. Ragging, however small it is, can directly have an impact on the one who suffers by it. Stop ragging inorder to bring up a generation of youth, with no vulnerabilities induced by mental and physical abuse."

Syed Ali Asgar Razvi, has been taking part in campaigns of various kinds inorder to improve the quality of thinking among the people in our society. He runs a company, RCF Multiventure Pvt Ltd, which deals with the wholesale and distribution of FMCG.
