Over the centuries, the medium of storytelling has transformed and taken different shapes. These media may have morphed into one thing or the other, the older making way for newer versions, and at times, the earlier forms making a comeback - be it the book, or performance mediums or oral traditions.
But the importance of the story in society has survived the passage of time.
And who does not want to share the spectacular, funny or sad thing their lives are with the world? The popular storytelling series, Tall Tales provides this platform for those who have stories to tell to bring it out to the world.
The series is back this week with five new stories they have selected. They select four or five strongest stories submitted in the previous month. These stories are always first-person, true stories and are between 10 and 15 minutes long when told aloud.
