Did you know that the food a mother eats during pregnancy not only affects her kids, but three generations after her too? Or that Lamaze, a set of specialised breathing techniques, can help women bear labour pain? "It relaxes your mind and ensures sufficient oxygen supply to both, the mother and the baby, enabling the mother to sail through the childbirth process," says qualified Lamaze consultant Dr Rita Shah, who will shed more light on these topics at a talk that is part of the Pinwheel Project. To be held tomorrow, it's a daylong pop-up curated by four entrepreneurs - Shouger Merchant Doshi, Aditi Kapur, Nidhi Chopra and Ragini Vakil.

"The idea is to create a one-stop shop of premium goods and services for mothers, to-be mums and babies. We've also roped in designers Swapnil Shinde and Nidhi Munim to debut their kids collection," says Doshi. The venue will house over 67 stalls offering kids' apparel, jewellery, toys, books and lifestyle products by labels like Gauri & Nainika, Archana Kochhar, Gaurav Gupta, Petit Royal, Little KM by Krishna Mehta and Little Kokoro.
You can also check out workshops, activities and play area set up by Jungle Gym, and sweet treats by Le15. One of the highlights is a discussion with a panel of celebrity mums Amrita Raichand, Deepshika Deshmukh and Ritika Vardhan.
On: August 5, 11 am to 9 pm (1.30 pm to 2.30 pm: talk)
