On International Museum Day, kids can head to the CSMVS that has lined up loads of fun, engaging activities
On International Museum Day which is today, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) is celebrating the day with the theme, Museums for a Sustainable Society.
Museums play a key role in promoting sustainable development and serving as real laboratories for best practices.
In keeping with the theme, the activities will be based on the theme of water - it's importance for human survival, its usage through history and civilisations, not only for survival but also for enhancement as an aesthetic society through art and intangible culture.
The museum will give free entry to children on the day; many fun activities have been planned all day, such as guided tours of the aquatic gallery, an art detective trail, storytelling with dance and fun art and craft activities.
