The cast of Homi Adajania's 'Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo' Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar, Udit Arora and Ashish Verma, recently got into conversation with mid-day.com. They told us all about the series and what they would do if approached for a regular saas-bahu show. The series has released on Disney+Hotstar and also features Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan among others. Besides the others, Angira who plays a pivotal part has been winning accolades for her role. The actress revealed that she had initially tested for Bijli's part that was eventually played by Isha Talwar in the series by Homi Adajania.
The actress added that she begged the makers to let her audition for Kajal's role. "My audition went to Homi and they came back saying I could play Kajal. I was very happy about that. That's how it happened for me."
Speaking about working with Homi, the actress said, "No matter how much you prepare and work on your character when you are in the scene is when it all comes alive."
Angira added that she instantly connected with her character Kajal. "The moment I entered Kajal's room in the haveli, it felt so lived in and felt like I've been there before."
Besides her acting chops, Angira has become a fan favourite for her chic style and keeps fans updated with new pictures on Instagram.
Dhar married her 'Love per Square Foot director' Anand Tiwari, in a secret ceremony on 30 April 2021. The film featured her along with Vicky Kaushal.
